We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a strong and efficient workforce by managing HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: 

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent. 

• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process. 

• Onboard new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. 

Employee Relations and Engagement: 

• Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts. 

• Plan and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives. 

• Conduct regular check-ins with team members to ensure satisfaction and productivity. 

HR Operations: 

• Maintain and update employee records in compliance with legal and company requirements. 

• Develop and enforce company policies and procedures. 

• Handle payroll, benefits administration, and performance reviews. 

Compliance and Legal: 

• Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations. 

• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance HR processes. 

Training and Development: 

• Identify training needs and organise development programs to enhance employee skills. 

• Support career planning and professional growth for team members. 

Qualifications and Skills 

Essential: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

• Proven minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role. 

• Ability to build Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment laws. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

• Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems). 

Preferred: 

• Experience working in a remote setup or with international teams. 

• HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent). 

• Familiarity with the construction or engineering industry. 

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment laws.
