About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Planner to join our project controls team. The ideal candidate will own and manage detailed planning, scheduling, and progress reporting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. The position requires a strong background in Oracle Primavera P6 with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on scheduling experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams. Knowledge of ASTA (Advanced Scheduling Tool for MEP/Construction Projects) is a strong plus.

Harrow, England, United Kingdom – [On-site / Hybrid / Remote, as applicable]

Key Responsibilities

– Develop and maintain MEP project schedules in Primavera P6
– Manage WBS, baselines, critical paths, and resource loading
– Produce progress reports, S-curves, and earned value analysis
– Coordinate design, procurement, site works, commissioning, and handover
– Lead recovery planning and schedule risk analysis

Essential Knowledge and Experience

Requirements

– 4+ years as Project Planner/Scheduler (2+ on MEP projects)
– Expert in Primavera P6 (EVM, coding, baselines, reporting)
– Strong knowledge of MEP sequencing and commissioning
Proficiency in MS Office & project controls tools
– Bonus: ASTA knowledge, BIM integration, or PMP/P6 certification
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Demonstrated track record of delivering accurate, timely, and compliant project schedules for MEP packages.
– Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment.
– Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
